And he said to me, "Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you." And as he spoke to me, the Spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me. Ezekiel 2:1-2
Supportive Ministries –
Our staff and leadership teams do their very best to steward every person and every penny in such a way that catalyzes the most ministry impact possible. Without such a committed, knowledgeable, and talented group of people, LifeHouse Church would not be able to do what we do with such efficiency and excellence.
Weekend Services –
Each weekend, approximately 850 people gather together at Everett Meredith Middle School to Connect, Grow and Serve. How we communicate to this ever-growing family and to those in our community who have yet to join us requires both creativity and innovation. As we continue to grow in size, the times we gather are increasingly important to the health of our family, and they provide unique opportunities to invite our community to join us as well.
Family Ministries –
Every week, LifeHouse Student and Children’s Ministry leaders and teachers invest in hundreds of young people. We are committed to always investing in the next generation. With the RISE initiative we intend to do just that. We believe we will be better equipped to improve and expand our ability to reach the next generation and to partner with parents to raise their children to love Jesus and live for the glory of God.
Adult Discipleship –
As we continue to grow, engaging people in discipleship becomes more and more difficult. It is a blessing to know so many leaders at LifeHouse Church are committed to making disciples by intentionally investing in these relationships through all stages of life. Our commitment to invest in adult discipleship will position us to continue connecting more and more people with Jesus and into discipleship relationships with one another.
Missions and Outreach –
We are committed to be a church that demonstrates our love for God and for the world through generosity. It is a joy to be a part of and regularly support Gospel-centered ministries in our community, state, nation and all around the world!
LifeHouse Church is currently responsible for the ongoing discipleship of more than 1000 people and counting. It is abundantly clear that having our own building will facilitate and catalyze more and better ministry opportunities. Therefore, we hope to invest $2 million as soon as possible in order to begin the process of that building becoming a reality. At the same time, we will continue to carry out the many ministry endeavors we are currently so passionate about.
After receiving cost-estimates from several builders that ranged from $8.3 million to $10.7 million, we have been diligently working to reduce the estimated cost of the building we need through strategic design alteration. Our goal is to end up in the $7 million range. Applying the $2 million to this amount will bring that number (when combined with our current Land Mortgage of approx. $1.2 million) to a level of financing that we feel is appropriate.
Our plan is to strategically and aggressively decrease any amounts financed as quickly as possible. We believe this can be accomplished by utilizing the Children’s Ministry space during the week as a Learning Care Center. In addition, we are considering selling the southern parcel of our property
For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?
We are asking you and your family to step out in faith and take the biggest step of generosity you’ve ever taken. Let us move together to accomplish all He has for us through RISE.
These are 4 steps that we are specifically asking you to take:
1. Pray fervently. No initiative of this magnitude can be accomplished without fervent prayer. We need you to commit to an extraordinary season of prayer for our community and church family. Pray that God will move in and through us as a church body to accomplish all that He has planned through RISE. Pray that He would be glorified, that more disciples would be made, that He would provide the resources needed for the building, and that it will be a home for greater worship, disciple-making, and missions sending.
2. Be all in. Help us reach our goal of 100% participation in this life-changing experience. RISE alongside your church family and commit to do whatever God leads you to do. Put your “yes” on the table. We want you to be ALL IN for these next two years so that you too can experience the spiritual growth that comes from trusting Jesus.
3. Celebrate loudly. Own the RISE Initiative and become a cheerleader for it within your spheres of influence. Engage in the RISE study with your LifeGroup and through the Daily Devotional. Commit to being at every service from Oct.7 through Nov. 11. Share with your church family all that God has done in your life and how He is challenging you to RISE.
4. Give generously. Ask God to show you during this season what a sacrificial gift looks like and take whatever bold steps are required to see it through. Making your RISE commitment will not be easy – it likely will require much sacrifice and faith in God. However, God desires us to give in this way, because it honors Him. We also grow in our faith when we stretch and step in greater ways toward Him than we ever have before. Be encouraged in Christ; He always provides even as He calls us to go deeper than before.
Bring your RISE Commitment Card on Sunday, Nov. 11
We will celebrate and commit ourselves to the vision God has called us to. It won’t be the end of this journey, but it will be a mile marker in the life of LifeHouse Church. Together, and with God’s power, we will continue our mission to make Him known as we RISE to increase our efforts to spread the Gospel in our community and to the ends of the earth.
